Baby Peyton Arrived!!!

Peyton Jo Nakaishi, born November. 11, 2010.
This sweet, sweet Angel took her time coming to this earth. Our good friends Zach and Heidi Nakaishi had to wait for this Princess to get here for 3 or so years. But when she finally came to her Mommy and Daddy she was a blessing in disguise for sure. She is the sweetest, most Beautiful girl and she is extremely spoiled by all who surround her day and night. She was blessed at the beginning of the New Year and will be sure to bring her parents many blessings and much Love as she continues to grow and get stronger. I was so Lucky to have gone to see her at the hospital and am so thankful that I was able to be apart of entrance to this world.

My Sweetheart had his 29th Birthday this past October.
I cannot believe that we are getting to our thirties it is just totally weird to think about. I know I still have a few years but still, time flies by so fast and we don't even realize it sometimes. I have been obsessed with doing wood projects that have to do with paint, scrapbook paper and material. I have been trying to have a Hobby and to keep busy, and occupied. I have 3 more that I just purchased yesterday, they are Valentines and will be starting to work on them this coming week. I will be sure to post Before and After photos when I start on them.

For the past 2 years we have had a Halloween Party at our house usually the weekend before Halloween or in this case the night before Halloween. I totally forgot to take pictures with my camera but my brother-in-law Tyler did get a few, although I feel horrible because we had such a great turn out this year. So they are mainly of my family with a few friends in the backgrounds. We all had a fun night of eating mummy dogs, yummy chicken tacos, salads, and all the junk food you can think of. The adults played games while the kids terrorized the upstairs with toys. Thanks to all who came and brought stuff to share with everyone, if it weren't for my wonderful family and friends it would not had been as Great as it was without all the help that I had. So Thank You! (You all know who you are!)

Happy Halloween Everyone!!! These Pics were taken the night pf Halloween before Clint took Court Trick-or-Treating. They got out before it started to rain to bad, but Courteney did not care she kept telling Clint, "I want to go to more houses and get more Candy!" Clint said that she did Awesome, she walked pretty much the whole way, and seemed to really like it a lot more this year.

I of course stayed home and passed out out the candy at our house. I have gone the past couple of years but not this past year. When I was growing up I did not like to go trick or treating, I mean I would still go, but only to the surrounding circles and streets once I went to where I wanted to go, I would head home and then would finish the night by handing out the candy at my house. So Clint is the designating trick or treat guy.

It was my turn to carpool the girls the week of their Halloween Party and I am glad it was. I was able to get some really cute pictures of the very sweet Bugs! Courteney goes to school with two other girls in our ward the adorable red head is Kyah Reading and the quiet shy one is Berkley Demetter, Kyah was of course as you can see a Bumblebee, Berkley was a blue Butterfly and Court was a Beautiful Ladybug, now I am sure a few of you are wondering if we planned this and the answer is No. We all had no idea until the week of, what each of them were being. Me and the other two moms take turns driving every three weeks, so it is a very nice break while she is gone at school to get a few things done around the house, shower and be ready by the time she gets dropped off, now that isn't how it is every time but for the most part. Hehe! I just love these girls and it is so fun to hear them chat and giggle away in the back seat on the way there and on the way home. They each have different personalities but they all get along pretty good for the Most part.

A Mommy/Daughter Day...

Like a week before we went and had this day together, we had been at the mall with a girlfriend of mine. Court really wanted to ride the Carousel, but I did not have any cash on me and they don't take debit cards. She also loves to watch the train go around the mall. So the following week I took and surprised her with lunch and rides at the mall....at this time she was also very obsessed with watching the movie "How to train your Dragon," so she had to ride on the Dragon of the Carousel. I took her down to play in the Dino land foe a little bit and then we rode the train together she just absolutely LOVED it!!! It was fun for just me and her to spend the day out together instead of on a play date with friends or out with daddy, it was just me and her and a special day!

My friend Nikki and I took our girls to the Corn belly's @ Thanksgiving Point back in October and they had such a Blast together! (As you can tell by all the photos I took of them.) They played on the HUGE jumping pillows, rocked on the animals in the sand pits, got to see the Pumpkin Princess, take a photo in the farm animals faces, run the kids corn maze, watch pigs race, sit on a big unicorn, go down mini slides and sit in a magical carriage. Courteney wanted to get her face painted really bad so we did, she did so Awesome!!! And it turned out super cute! We had so much fun and will probably end up going again this year. Thanks Nikki and Peyton!

A few years ago we decided that we would try and do one birthday get together every month that their were birthdays and so far it has worked out pretty good, other than some months we combined two three if we weren't able to get together in the month of the birthdays. It is nice to be able to get together with such hectic schedules and take time to relax and catch up with family.

The first week of October we went to the Pumpkin Patch to find our pumpkins for the Fall festivities. And Court wanted Grandma and Grandpa to come so we met up with them and spent time finding our pumpkins. From the moment I told Court that we were going to go pick out pumpkins, she kept telling me she was going to get a Big, Big pumpkin and so we did. She loves riding in the wheel barrow looking for the perfect one.

My friend Teresa called me up a day over the summer and asked if me and Court wanted to go to this place called "The Kangaroo Zoo." She had coupons so I said sure. When we got there Courteney go so excited! Her and her friend Chase had a Ball and played for 3 hours. It was nice to hang out to talk and catch up with Teresa. I love that our kids get together so well, they play so cute with eachother.

Over the summer courteney became friends with a little girl in our ward named Gracie, they became attached at the hip for a few weeks. So we did a few playdates out of the house so they could get some outside fun before the weather turned colder. These two almost look as if they could be twins if not that then sisters. They had a lot of fun at the park this day, we had a picnic and they played on the playground until it started to rain. Her friend Gracie moved before Halloween so we haven't seen her in a few months.

~Our Vacation to Yellow Stone National Park~

For our summer annual Gordon Family Vacation we went to Yellowstone National Park.
It was very fun and lots of outdoor activities. My parents have a Condo share and so we were able to stay right near the West entrance of the Park so we didn't have to go to far to start our drives into the park. So we spent 3 days driving thru the park, we ate some yummy Mexican food, saw moose, bears, elk, wolves, and coyote's. Saw the Famous Old Faithful Geyser, and Hot geyser springs. And of course all the Beautiful Waterfalls that we could find. Courteney really enjoyed herself and loved taking turns riding in every ones cars, but her Favorite was riding with Grandma and Grandpa. And seeing all the cool animals. We all were so exhausted by the late afternoon that all that we wanted to do was rest and take it easy, so we played games, watched movies, and just relaxed at nights. We all enjoyed being together as a Family but as anyone could probably agree, but sometimes when families spend a week together in a smaller enclosed room it can be very intense and hard. So after a week of being together we were all ready for a little brake. HeHe! :0)

It's a Blogging Overload!

Hey Everyone,
I have had a few of wondering why all the sudden Blogging overload. And well for Christmas I was given my own laptop. Before I was using Clint's work laptop when it was available and it was hard because he didn't like me loading all my hundreds of pictures to his computer. So I now am a free bird to the blogging world! So prepare what I have done is only not quit or more than half way.
But my next Post will be a longer one it was our Vacation to Yellowstone from August.

The 4th of July was a relaxing one for us this year. We went to the Parade in the morning, had a BBQ in the afternoon, and went down to watch the Bee's Game's Fireworks.
My brother Andy had his son Graysen and I had invited my friend from my ward and her 2 kids to go with us. It was nice to just be able to relax and take it easy rather than have a hectic and stressful day. I Love this picture of my Baby and Princess!

In July we went to the Rodeo at the Maverick Center with our Friends Derran, Teresa, and their son Chase. I believe it was the Western Stampede Rodeo but I could be mistaken and be totally wrong.
Anyway we were all able to go as families, and it was a Blast to watch the kids reactions to all the different competitions. When Court saw the baby cows being hog tied she would say, "Oh No...he died...?" In such a very worried voice, but when the Cowboys would untie them she would say, "They woke-up and are all better now!" In a very enthused voice. Court and Chase are cute little buddies and love spending time playin, and we enjoy Derran's and Teresa's company as well, we are so Lucky adn blessed to have them be apart of our lives.

Courteney just ADORES her Daddy, and loved playing outside during the Hot Summer Days when he was home. Over the summer one of her favorite things to do was to play/blow BuBbLeS! Everyday she would ask if we could go outside to blow bubbles, so we would. :0)
Court and her Daddy have such a Great Daddy/Daughter relationship she never minds if I go somewhere and leave her home with her Daddy, she loves spending time with him. I am so greatful that Clint has bonded with her so closely. All I can say is that they have eachother WRAPPED around their fingers! SHe is a Total Daddy's Girl all the way!!!

On our 2nd day we went to the Zoo and it was the 1st time for the year, so it was fun to do it with our Family. Clint's Dad has an old friend that he worked with a long time ago that is the head of Security at the Zoo, so if we call ahead with a head count and show up with a plate full of a yummy treats we all get in for FREE! So we have the hook-up, it is Awesome!! We all met up and enjoyed the elephant's tricks/feeding, ooed and awed at the Adorable Baby Zuri! She seriously was so stinkin' Cute!! Courteney loved going to the Zoo with all her cousins playing and running around.
I bought court her Carousel ticket so she could ride it we have never let her do it before, so she really liked it. Also when we were getting close to leaving a few of us rode the Zoo train and it was an Absolute BLAST!!! It was another Johnson fun filled day.

Every summer Clint's Aunt Karen, Cousin Andrew and his 2 boys come up from California to stay for a week. So while they were here this past summer (2010) we did a lot in a few days throughout the week. For the 1st day we went to the Living Planet Aquarium and Courteney just Loves the Aquarium, last year I had a friend who asked if me and court wanted to get a season pass for the year. So when I got on to get them they were very reasonably priced so we did! And it has been the greatest thing to have to do with her for play dates with her Best Buddy Landon. So when we heard that Clint's family wanted to go there we were thrilled and set to go she just Loves going and seeing all the different tanks of fish, sea horses, jelly fish, sting rays, and of course her Favorite of anything there the Penguins!!! She could just sit and watch them all day. We have really enjoyed being to go to the Aquarium at any time during the year. It was a Great purchase and will probably be one we do again but our passes don't expire til this April. She had a lott of fun with all her Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. We had fun spending time with extended family.

I went to NYC with a couple of friends last May, and we had a Ball!! My friend had to go there for work so me and her sister joined her towards the end of her week there and spent 4 days. We did everything from the Faerie Ride to the Statue of Liberty, to riding the Merry Go Round in Central Park and Touring the Park it self. We also toured a few other Museums on Statin Island, walked the Times Square strip, road in Taxi's and got kicked out of a Taxi that was a very Hilarious moment! We went to a Fabulous Broadway Play, "The Phantom of the Opera" at the Majestic Theatre. We of course did The Empire State Building tour it was so cool because we did the tour at 9:00 at night it was so Beautiful to see all the NY city lights from way up high. We ate at the Olive Garden right in the center of Times Square it was so cool to sit by the window and watch all the city life at night in Times Square. We had a blast and I was so Excited to be able to have gone to have a Girl's Week in NYC. Thanks Heidi and Jenny for letting me tag along.

WOW, Long Time No BLOG!!!!

It has been so long since I have posted anything but a good excuse.... Our family computer flaked out on us and so I have been using Clint's work laptop when I can which is hardly ever. But hopefully by Christmas I will have one a new one and be able to do an over load on pics since I haven't in a really long time.
So here is what has been going on with our Family....
We put Courteney into Pre-school at the first of September and she just absolutely LOVES IT!!! She has learned and is still learning so much.... She knows the Pledge of Allegiance by hart and all the states from the letter A to I, and those are also all the letters that she has learned up to this point to. She is getting so Big and so-o Smart, she always says and does things that make us all laugh everyday. She keeps asking when we are going ti have a new tiny baby at our house and I just can't seem to give her that answer other than were trying.
I am now an official SCENTSY Consultant and am very Excited about it! So if any of you are wanting to host a party and get free stuff or get discounts, HOST a party it is so easy and simple to do. I have my first party on Tuesday of this week, and to be honest I am a little nervous but excited at the same time.
Clint's department has had so many changes happen in the last month his Sheriff if Summit County was re-elected for another 2 years and Clint was very happy about this...But with him being re-elected meant new changes were coming and they have already. On Tuesday November 16th Clint received an unexpected but interesting phone call from the Under Sheriff from his department asking him if he was interested in moving ti Investigations/Detectives. So after he was off the phone he then relayed the phone call to me and we were so excited together so he attempted for the rest of the week to get together for a quick rundown/little interview but failed the Under Sheriff was either in meetings or had gone home for the day. Plus it didn't help that Clint is working nights. So anyway... we waited for a week and we then got the Exciting phone call the following Monday that we had been waiting for since Clint was unable to get a little interview the Sheriff just made the decision and Offered the position to him, it will go into effect on Dec. 11th! We are so EXCITED for this Huge change that is about to happen to our Family...with this new position he will be switching his shift t o working 10 hour days 4 days a week and will be home on weekends and on every holiday, he will be transferred into a undercover car and be wearing a suit and tie.
Thanksgiving was Really Good this year, we were able to spend the day with each of our Families but the majority of it with my Family because Clint had to work at night. We ate tons of food and played a game that was really fun and made us all laugh pretty hard. I went and did the crazy BLACK FRIDAY shopping with my girlfriend and her family and I was pretty successful for all the items we wanted to get Court for Christmas. We are so excited for Christmas to be spending our 2nd year in our house, and for the first time in 3 years we get to spend it all together as a family on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we are so looking forward to it! We hope everyone is good and I hope to post more often and keep on top of it and keep everyone updated.

Well everyone another Year has gone and a New Year has begun.
We had a Great Christmas to start off, Courteney got a cute kitchen so she can help me cook and a cute little shoppin cart with lots of food and also a an ironing board with iron so she can help iron as well. She really enjoyed christmas this year our favorite thing this was when she said it was Santa Clause Birthday it made all of us laugh. But we had to tell and help her understand that it is not Santas birthday that it was Jesus's birthday.I got some really pretty earrings from Clint and a new hair straightener and blow dryer, and clint fun stuff for the car to keep in garage. We also had a very Fun New Year we had a few friends and family over we ate and played games all night until the clock struck Midnight. I think we will make it a new tradition for all who would like or want to or don't do anything are more than welcome to come and ring in the New year with us next year for 2011.

Hey Everyone Happy Holidays & Merry Christmas!

Hey Everyone, I know it has been awhile so I thought I would update all of you on what's been going on with us... So we have now been in our house for 5 1/2 months and we are loving every minute. Courteney has made herself at home and is just loving all the space to rome and play, and she Loves her new room. Clint has been doing an Awsome job up at work with stats on stuff like DUI's, Arrests, and Traffic Citations... he still Loves his job and all the suprises and joys it brings to him he is Living his Dream! As for me the Stay at home Mommy... I have had a hard time adjusting to things, not that I don't Love my new house but I was hoping to get it all decorated and the way I pictured and wanted it but it is going to happen slowly and all with time. But I do Love being in our own place again, it is definately quiet... but is a good thing. I have had a few shin-digs here like... My high school madrigal reunion, family birthday parties, clints 28th suprise party, a pampered chef party and my most recent was a scentsy open house. Which mentioning Scentsy I am going to be signing on as a Consultant in January and hope to have a Great success in doing it. I absolutely Love it and tell everyone I know about it so I thought instead of passing on the word, I would just invest some of my personal time into selling it and sharing it with all the people I love and care about. So for all of you people who love candles and have a Yummy smelling house this is the product for you. I will be advertising it here on my blog when it is official and when I will be available to start hosting parties, open houses and selling this great product! I am glad to have found something to do for me and to socialize with others and to help others. We hope and wish for you all to have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful Holiday Season this time of year. We Love You All!!

It has been awhile since I have updated, so I thought I would do so now.
So we have been in our house for just over 2 months now and we are just Loving It! We still have a lot of Decorating to do but it will happen over time. We Love our new ward and neighborhood has been such an easier and great transition that I could have ever imagined. But I was even more Suprised at how well Courteney did with all the changes that happened, she has been such a little trooper and has just gone with the Flow. She Loves her Big Girl Bed and having her own room again. We have been trying really hard on Potty Training and I think we finally are safe to say that we are 95% there, she is in Big girl undies all day and is in Pull-Ups at night. She has only has a few accidents here and there but overall done a Great Job! So I am Proud to say, "GOODBYE DIAPERS!"
Clint just had his shift change up at work so is now back on the Gravyard shift. He really enjoys this shift a lot better than the day shift. He has had a good couple of weeks, he had 3 arrests and 2 DUI's.... He was really excited and very Proud and so was I. He does such a great job and you can tell he really enjoys his job and all the men and women he works with.
I am just still being the stay at home and raisin my little princess and keepin up on the house and right now I am getting ready to start doing an Aerobics Class and sdtarting a few Craft projects for the house to make it feel more homey.
So when I am finished with them I will take pictures and post them so you can see.

Back to Real Life agian...

So me and Clint got back from our cruise late saturday night and are glad to be home but will miss being waitied on hand and foot, and also being able to eat delicious food whenever we want. it was so Fun to get away and relax and just do whatever. But we were missing courteney alot so glad were home. But also came home to find out that we got to close on our house earlier than expected, but not because of so good terms. It turns out thatcouple who we had originally out bid on the home in the first place were not ready to purchase the home but our loan was complete and ready to roll so we were able to close and beat them to the punch again. So we Closed yesterday (June 16th). And will receive our keys tomorrow. YEAH!!! We are so excited but are stoll trying to catch up on everything that went on while we were gone for a week. Also Courteney learned a whole new vocabulary while we were gone as well. She is getting so Big and can't believe it. Well I will post some pics of our cruise another time but they are still to come. Hope everyone is doing well.

What is New with Us...

Hey I thought I would take a minute and Update everyone on what's been going on and happening with us.
First- The Biggest News of all is we Finally are getting a house, we Close on June 25th and it is in the west end of West Jordan.
Second- Clint put in for a new Position at work to become a School Resource Officer or (SRO) that will give him a pay raise and be great for our Family.
Third- We are leaving on a 5 day Cruise on Sunday June 7th to the Western Caribbean for our 5th year Anniversary which is on June 12th.
Fourth- We just went to her 2 year follow up about a week ago and found out she has still has a small hole in her heart and a mur mur but her EKG was great! Although they want us to wait another year til they do the ultrasound if they will ever have to operate it will be done through a catheter in a vein in her leg and not until she is at least 4 or 5 years old. so until then it has to do what it can in that time period. So we are hoping and praying for the Best to come out of it.

And our Little Princess is getting so Big and talkative and using such big words and sentences. She is very Independent though these days and it is sometimes very difficult to reason with her on some things. But she is such a joy in each of our lives and are very blessed to have her.

We are very excited about these changes and are very Happy. We know the Lord truly works in mysterious ways but does them when he knows we are ready.

About Clint:

He will be 27 in October.
He is a Summit County Sherrif Deputy and Loves his Job Up there.
He likes to keep himself in shape he lifts weights and does some very interesting stretches and exercise routines, he runs 3 miles in under 18 minutes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of every week. He enjoy's Hunting, Fishing, Camping and just going Practice Shooting out by Utah Lake so as you can tell he is definately a Man!

About Betsy:

I just turned 23 this month.
I am a Stay at Home Mom and enjoy it very much, being able to watch and help our litlle girl grow and learn. I Love going to Dinner and Movies with my husband and I LOVE shopping. I enjoy doing the vinyl lettering boards For Ex: painting and assembling them together. And I Love spending time with my Mom and Courteney are my Best Friend's we do just about everything together when she is not working or had a long day. I also enjoy going Camping in a R.V., going Fishing, Long Drives to the Mountains and Vacations to the smallest or dumbest places ever.

About Courteney:

She just turned 1 year old on Valentines Day, yes we have us a Love Baby!
She is loving life, She is starting to walk by herself and it is so fun to watch her be so independant, but it sad at the same time. She is our Little Princess and knows it she answers to it anyway, her Dad has been calling her it since the day she was born, She has a Full head of hair and I am always getting compliments on her hair and eyes. She loves her Little Einstein Doll's named Annie and June, her Glow Worm named Gabby and her Fisher Price Purse that sings and has items that you pull in and out. She loves to look and hear us read books to her. She is a very smart little girl, she is our Light and Joy and we are so blessed to have her in our lives.

Lego:

He is our Family Dog, he just turned 5 last month.
He is a Yorkie mixed with something else but we have no clue what.
